Last week, Boomsourcing issued a press release to announce a key moment in our company’s history. It’s an even bigger transition than the switch from Teleserve to Boomsourcing over a decade ago. Like that change, though, this one represents a paradigm shift for our organization, taking in a new view of the possibilities the future holds. We are re-branding our company for the future, and we are expanding it now.
The new Boom includes Smart Funnel, a company that has been an excellent and beneficial partner for us for several years. Smart Funnel brings to the table several years of significant experience in the data acquisition and lead generation fields. It has been dedicated to providing its clients with leads that are accurate and relevant by independently verifying the media information they contain. Smart Funnel has applied these techniques primarily in the insurance, education, and home services industries.
As a business process outsourcing company, Smart Funnel’s core functions were immensely helpful to Boomsourcing. They enabled us to serve our clients with even higher-quality results than before. This resulted in faster growth for both them and us. It also allowed us to refocus on what has always made our organization so special: our technology.
The core of Boom’s technology is our Perfect Pitch software, a combined platform that manages dialing and customer relationships while simultaneously providing agents with a smarter and more accurate way of interacting with prospects. Perfect Pitch has been our greatest advantage as long as we’ve had it, but we’ve realized that it could do even more for us. We just had to keep looking forward.

That’s why we announced that we were acquiring Smart Funnel and rebranding as Boom.ai. This change reflects our company’s focus on using Artificial Intelligence technology to improve the quality of our products and services, ensure greater performance and compliance, and more efficiently meet the needs of our business-to-consumer clients.
Nate Clegg, the founder of Smart Funnel, is being brought on as Boom.ai’s new Chief Revenue Officer. We recognized the need for someone with significant experience and business success to fill this role as the company continues to grow. In addition to Smart Funnel, Nate was the co-founder of Call Criteria, a firm that provides contact center quality and performance management services.
Nate had been instrumental in helping Boomsourcing grow its customer base by providing high-quality leads through data acquisition and other innovative strategies. Once Boomsourcing acquired Smart Funnel and rebranded as Boom.ai, it became apparent that Nate was in the perfect position to continue helping Boom.ai’s clients enjoy further success.
